What is MOdular HOusing?

Modular homes are built in a factory, in an assembly line format, saving time, ensuring precision and creating less waste during construction.  Because materials and labor are handled by the factory, cost and energy efficiencies are controlled. 

Once the home is built, it is delivered in two pieces to the prepped home site location and set by a crane onto the foundation.  

SCV Habitat has built single-family, modular homes in Ellsworth, New Richmond and River Falls, Wisconsin.  

Our Twin Home Model includes side one with a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom layout and side two with a 3 bedroom/2 bedroom.  Each side is 1,050 sq. ft.  Homebuyers purchase either side, based on family need.  We build these on varying basement/crawl space options.
