Our Critical Home Repair program helps low-income homeowners in Pierce & St. Croix Counties address urgent safety and accessibility issues — such as failing roofs, broken heating systems, and accessibility ramps. Applications are currently open — apply on our Critical Home Repair page.

We serve Pierce & St. Croix Counties, Wisconsin, including Hudson, Baldwin, River Falls, New Richmond, and surrounding communities. Our ReStore is located in Hudson and serves the broader St. Croix Valley region.

No — a Habitat home is not a gift. Approved families purchase their home with an affordable, low-cost mortgage from Habitat for Humanity, with no down payment required. Monthly payments go back into the mission to help build more homes. Learn more on our Homeownership page.

Our ReStore is located at 749 Ryan Drive in Hudson, WI, selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials at a fraction of retail prices. Current hours and donation pickup information are listed on our ReStore page.

Yes. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 39-1857467), and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Annual reports, IRS Form 990s, and audit statements are available on our Financials page.

We were founded on March 29, 1996, and have been building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in Pierce & St. Croix Counties ever since.
