The Village of Baldwin is located in St. Croix County in northwestern Wisconsin, 30 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 40 miles west of Eau Claire. Downtown Baldwin is located one mile north of Interstate 94 on Highway 63. Baldwin was established in 1871
Established in 1871, the village quickly grew to a booming community due to the railroad, farming opportunities, and location to Hudson and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Today, there are more than 4,400 residents (2020 Census) supporting businesses and industries – including a full-service hospital (Western Wisconsin Health), numerous banks including Pillar Bank, commercial businesses, industrial ventures, schools, and churches.
The Village of Baldwin offers visitors and residents the pleasure of many parks, quaint shopping opportunities, small town atmosphere and most of all - friendly faces. Baldwin's annual summer celebration is Baldwin Windmill Days, June 3-7, 2026.
The Baldwin Windmill is the symbol of the Village and is located at Windmill Park. The structure was completed in 1987 after Baldwin's Dutch Ethnic Women's Group began to raise funds in 1983. The vanes of the wind mill can be seen rotating throughout the summer months.

Our Panther Woods project includes two sets of modular, twin-homes, each with a shared wall, separate garage and unfinished, walkout basement - perfect for your starter home needs.
With ample space, the finished home square footage is 1,050 sq. ft., which does not include unfinished basement space.

Post Mill Flats will be a tri-plex of three modular homes, connected by garages.
Each home will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and will be built on crawl spaces. This development will be located north of the Kwik Trip at 650 10th Avenue, on the east side of Hwy. 63.
The land for Post Mill Flats was generously donated by Western Wisconsin Health as part of their commitment to helping people with attainable homes that contribute to healthy lives. The first home built in this development will be crafted for a healthcare worker who comes from any part of the healthcare continuum. We will begin taking applications for this home in April 2026.

Post Mill Flats feature Zero-Ready Energy built homes with Frigidaire Stainless Steel Appliances, Duracraft Cabinets and Ecobee Smart Thermostats. These modular homes feature modern appliances, gorgeous finishes, complete with three beds and two baths to suit your needs now and for years to come.
Homes complete a tri-plex and are connected by a shared garage wall. Each home has it's own lot lines and garage, giving you the freedom to make your home your space.
