At St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity, our mission is to help people with affordable housing, and often times that means lending a helping hand so you can stay safely where you're already at! Special funding for the Critical Home Repair program comes from Andersen Corporate Foundation. Learn more about our Critical Repair Program below and let us know if you have questions!

Our first year will be a pilot program to learn more about best ways to serve you. This year (July, September, November 2026 and January, March, May 2027), the cost to a homeowner is free - projects are limited to materials cost of $3,300. And labor is volunteer, which is led by our professional construction team. We will only be able to complete one main project every other month. Every project must be something we've listed in our menu below and will be preapproved by our construction team.
We expect the program will change after our initial year, and participants may incur costs for materials beginning July 2027.
