Nearly 60% of Americans report the need for assistance with home repair. We've got the tools and the team. SCVHFH’s Critical Repair Program enables low- to moderate-income homeowners in SCVHFH’s service area (Pierce and St. Croix Counties, Wisconsin) to stay housed by maintaining and undertaking critical repairs on owner-occupied residential structures through eligible improvements, repairs, and modifications.

Our Critical Repair Program is offered every other month, beginning July 2026. Work listed in our "Critical Repair Menu" below are the types of jobs we can take on. Applications are taken the month prior and will be reviewed and selected based on availability of crew and materials.
Please email us at info@scvhabitat.org with questions, or complete the application below to learn more.

SCVHFH's Critical Repair Program is designed to help people living in Pierce & St. Croix Counties with small repair projects that can be completed in a few days. Eligible applicants must show need, fit within our income guidelines of 40-80% of the Area Median Income, and be willing to help where needed or able on the project.
