We are looking for an AmeriCorps member to serve as our Volunteer Services Coordinator in 2021.
In 1994, Habitat for Humanity partnered with a new national service program, AmeriCorps, to place 122 individuals in five locations to support Habitat’s work. Habitat for Humanity was one of the first organizations to partner with AmeriCorps. Today, more than 500 AmeriCorps members serve with Habitat in 42 states and the District of Columbia, encompassing more than 160 communities.
Volunteer and Homeowner Services Coordinator
Full time, 40 hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

This full-time AmeriCorps National service position is a chance to make a real impact in the lives of others while building your own knowledge and skillset.
The St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity Volunteer and Homeowner services coordinator will assist with volunteer management, including orientation, maintenance of database, volunteer tracking and follow-up opportunities in construction, office work, homeowner services, special events, with a focus on community impact areas, including Neighborhood Revitalization programs. This role is critical in helping meet affiliate goals through planning, coordination and implementation in partnership with our target communities. A secondary goal will be to support the Homeowner Services department with advancing educational opportunities.
Position reports to Executive Director and is a 10 ½ month role, which includes a paid stipend and education award opportunity. Qualified applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation. Please submit resume and cover letter to email@example.com

Each year, more than 650 volunteers donate their time to build and renovate houses and support our operations. This gift of time saves our Affiliate more than hundreds of thousands in labor costs each year.

As a construction volunteer, you (and your team) do the important building work on homes at our sites throughout Pierce and St. Croix Counties. Don't worry, construction experience is NOT necessary. We have a great team who will help you learn!
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate; age appropriate activities will be determined for volunteers under 18.
Each volunteer must complete an annual safety waiver when coming to a work site -. this release must be completed in order to begin work.
