Volunteer as an Individual
Volunteers participate in construction of homes at our Eco Village and at sites throughout Pierce and St. Croix Counties, and no experience is necessary. The only requirements are a willingness to serve and to learn. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate; age appropriate activities will be determined for volunteers under 18. Each volunteer must complete a waiver when coming to a worksite, which needs to be updated annually. This release must be completed in order to begin work.
Exterior Home Repair Volunteering
Volunteers participate in exterior home repairs through our A Brush with Kindness program at sites throughout Pierce and St. Croix counties. The focus is exterior repairs of existing homes – one home, one block, one neighborhood at a time. Repairs are related to general poor structural conditions, safety, landscaping and painting, as well as special needs including wheelchair ramps, veteran assistance and aging in place assistance. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate, and age-appropriate activities will be determined for volunteers; however, students and other younger volunteers are welcome to assist with landscaping and other tasks when accompanied by a chaperone. For more information, please visit our A Brush with Kindness Program page or contact the administrative office at 715-425-5623.
Help at our nonprofit building supply/interior design storefronts! Assist with collecting, organizing and pricing donated items; staffing the sales floor; and updating our space. All profits go towards future Habitat homes. Our ReStore is located in Roberts. Accepted donations include tools, used building supplies, furniture, and more. For more information on volunteering at the ReStore, please visit our ReStore page or contact:
