2017 Women Build
St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity is honored to partner with Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence for the 2017 National Women Build Week. The event is sponsored by Lowe’s, a corporate partner with Habitat for Humanity International. The program invites women to devote at least one day to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing. The week is meant to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women. Hosting the event during this week reinforces the message that every woman make a difference through learning and using construction skills.
This year, 300 communities in 49 states participated in National Women Build Week to help create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
