Eco Village Anchor Partners
Generous contributions from our Eco Village Anchor Partners have brought in the funds and volunteer base to continue our Eco Village project. These Anchor Partners have been working side-by-side with St. Croix Valley Habitat since the first foundation was poured. It is our pleasure to honor them here for their responsible stewardship of resources, and invite you to view their websites (links to each) and learn more about their commitments to Habitat for Humanity and to sustainable building.
Core Anchor Partners
A longtime supporter of Habitat, Andersen® 400 Series casement windows are provided and installed in our Eco Village homes. The Andersen 400 Series delivers superior craftsmanship and top performance. The 400 Series provide rich, FSC certified natural wood interior, attractive low-maintenance exteriors, with vinyl cladding that protects the entire sash from rain and high-performance Low-E4 glass that provides exceptional energy efficiency.
Uponor plumbing, fire sprinklers and radiant floor heating and cooling systems are the ultimate sustainable solution for bringing comfort, efficiency and safety to a home. Featuring flexible, durable crosslinked polyethylene (PEX-a) tubing at the core, Uponor systems are designed to install more efficiently and work more effectively to provide water and energy conservation for the homes and communities they inhabit. Even the manufacturing processes for producing Uponor PEX-a tubing conserves energy through minimizing waste.
A national partner of Habitat for Humanity, Dow provides a complete package of insulation and air sealing technologies, essential for a high performance building envelope. Styrofoam rigid foam board insulation; Weathermate vapor barriers and sill sealants; and Great Stuff Pro foam and Froth Pack spray foam systems all work together to eliminate air infiltration and increase insulation, maximizing energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
A long standing partner of Habitat for Humanity, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has given over $160 million over 7 years to build homes and hope in communities across the globe. To date, more than 480,000 volunteers have donated more than three million hours to construct and rehabilitate 2,700 homes worldwide, including 10 right here in the St. Croix Valley. Thrivent continues its support of Habitat, funding the construction of 3 homes in the Eco Village.
